Nicole E. Fernandez is a public health leader, educator, and communications specialist dedicated to advancing equity through trauma-informed and community-centered practice. With expertise in maternal health, cardiac health, violence prevention, and college and career preparation, she develops strategies that address systemic barriers while uplifting community voice.

A certified Community Health Worker, Forest Therapy Guide, and Lifestyle & Wellness Coach (Harvard Medical School Executive Education), Nicole integrates public health and youth development with culturally responsive engagement. She has designed and led initiatives that strengthen families, support holistic student success, and build safe, restorative environments where BIPOC communities thrive.

Nicole holds a BS in Communication Studies, an MA in Leadership and Innovation, and certifications in Youth Development and Community Health Work. Her leadership is rooted in authentic connection, restorative practice, and the belief that lasting change emerges from within communities themselves.
